PARISH ADMINISTRATOR for the linked parishes of Our Lady Immaculate, Holy Name and St Augustine – Chelmsford A vacancy has arisen for a Parish Administrator, with financial experience, to provide administrative and financial support to the Parish Office by implementing and maintaining office systems, processes and procedures and delivering a welcoming, appropriate service to those attending the parish office. The role be based at Rochester House, 145 New London Road, Chelmsford , CM2 0QT.The post will be full time working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary is £14.50 per hour . FR MICHAEL'S 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF ORDINATION CELEBRATION Friday, 10th July at 7PM at St Augustine Canterbury Church. Come and celebrate Fr Michael's 5 years of priestly ministry.

ST AUGUSTINE OF CANTERBURY JMC: The JMC is the committee that is responsible for the upkeep and management of the Church buildings. We currently are looking for a new treasurer as the current incumbent only took this on as a temporary measure. The role will include producing accounts each year, making payments and checking money that is due is up to date. It also includes management of the bank account. The accounts are currently in good order and the incumbent will be very happy to assist with the handover. If you would be interested in taking on this role please speak to Fr Barto, Peter Allen or contact the parish office. DIVINE MERCY PRAYERS: will take place in Our Lady Immaculate Church every Monday at 2.50 pm.

THE SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY: The SVP provides practical help to those in need. If you or someone you know could use support, call us on 07936 579230, or contact the Parish Office.

SVP CHELMSFORD This Sunday, 7th June there will be tea, coffee, cakes and savoury items served in the hall after 9.00 and 12.00 masses. Many thanks for your continued generous support in the work of the SVP.

TUESDAY CLUB You are more than welcome to join our Tuesday Club every Tuesday at the Our Lady Immaculate Church Parish Hall from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. 200 CLUB - May's 200 Club at St. Augustine was won by Florence Spencer.

THE LEGION OF MARY: Meet every Tuesday at 10am in OLI Parish Hall. If you would like to pray and put your faith in action, then why not come along and give us a try and help us spread the faith through local ministry and community outreach. All warmly welcome.

HOLY ROSARY PRAYERS IN OLI: take place at 12Noon every Tuesday and at 11:00am after the 10:30am Mass on Saturdays. On the First Saturday of the month First Saturday Devotions, Rosary and Fatima prayers are prayed at 11:00am after the 10:30am Mass. SICK & RETIRED CLERGY FUNDS - 2ND COLLECTION This weekend there will be the annual collection for the Sick & Retired Clergy Fund of the Diocese. Donations can be made in the 2nd Collection, online via the Diocesan Website or using any available Contactless devices, selecting the second collection option, (if applicable). The fund helps Clergy who require assistance in their retirement after years of service, it also helps those who are in ill health at any age. This is also an opportunity to thank parishioners who have bequeathed legacies in their wills and we would welcome any who are about to make, or review existing arrangements, to consider this worthy cause. The Administrators of the fund would also like to express their gratitude to the families of deceased parishioners who have gifted legacies in the past.

ST JOHN BOSCO CHILDREN'S CAMP, SUMMER 2026: Applications are now open for children currently in school year 5 – 7 (i.e. aged 9-12 in August 2026) to spend a week at camp. 25th July – 1st August or 1st – 8th August. BCYS YOUTH MASS: The next Youth Masses will take place at Brentwood Cathedral on Thursday 4th June and 2nd July. The evening begins with something to eat in the Parish Hall at 6pm followed by Mass at 7:30pm For more information, please visit www.bcys.net/ events

NATIVITY EXHIBITION 29th NOVEMBER to 6th DECEMBER – HELP NEEDED. St Augustine of Canterbury church is hosting a Nativity Exhibition on these dates. It is being organised by the Anglican, Methodist and URC community, and they are looking for assistance with hosting it. They will need help with setting it up, providing refreshments, running a small stall and finally taking it down. They are planning 3 shifts a day 10-12; 12-2 and 2-4, plus on Friday 4th 6-8pm There is a planning meeting on the 12 June at 2.30pm in St Augustine’s. ST THOMAS CHURCH GRAYS CELEBRATORY MASS: in October this year the Church and School will be celebrating 140 years of serving the community. All are invited to a celebratory Mass with Bishop Alan on the 10th October at 5pm. CHORAL VESPERS Join us for Choral Vespers in the Chapel at New Hall School on Wednesday 10 June at 5.15pm. The service will be led by the New Hall School Choristers, who sing weekly at our Sunday evening Masses at 5.30pm. Music by George Dyson, Philip Wilby and Simon Lindley will be featured, and the service will be presided by Fr Andrew Robinson. All are welcome.

CATHOLIC LEGACY WEEK, 24th-30th May, is a time when Parishes and Catholic charities such as CAFOD celebrate the work made possible in the life of the Church through gifts in Wills. Find out more about the week at cafod.org.uk/CatholicLegacyWeek

CHELMSFORD CATHOLIC YOUNG ADULTS GROUP (CCYA) Dates for your diary – the CCYA will be taking place every two weeks in the Blessed Sacrament hall from 7pm till 8.30pm. The dates for June are Friday 12th and Friday 26th. Anyone aged between 18 and 35 are warmly welcomed.
