SECOND COLLECTION: This Sunday we have a second collection for Catholic Education Service. A time when we celebrate and pray for the brilliant work of our Catholic schools. These schools rely heavily on good governance, if you, or anyone you know, may be able to support our schools as a foundation governor. See Poster
Next week Second Collection will be for Evangelii Gaudium Day.
COUNTERS AND BANKERS OLI: OLI are looking for counters and bankers for the weekly collection. The volunteers must be available during the week to count and bank as HSBC are not available for counter service at a weekend. CATECHIST TRAINING & RESOURCES DAY: Saturday 7th November: from 10am–3pm. Brentwood Ursuline High School - Free event. This is for Catechists for First Holy Communion, Confirmation and RCIA.
CATECHISTS WANTED: If you would like to join the catechist teams for First Holy Communion, RCIA or Conformation please contact the Parish office. We are particularly looking for Catechists from OLI.
RCIA CATECHIST MEETING: If you are interested in becoming a Catechist for RCIA, a meeting is being held in the Parish Office on 18th September at 7pm.

RCIA 25/26 GET TOGETHER: Those that took part in the RCIA programmed last year (25/26) we are inviting you to a get together on 22nd September at 7pm in The Holy Name Parish Hall. RCIA 26/27 PROGRAMME: The new RCIA programme begins on Wednesday 7th October at 7:3pm in the Our Lady Immaculate (OLI) parish hall. To register your interest, please complete an RCIA Enrolment Form and return it directly to Fr Barto or the Parish Office.
ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY: Fr Barto will be celebrating mass every Friday 12:15pm at MAB118 at Anglia Ruskin. If you are a Catholic studying at Anglia Ruskin University from this September, please get in touch with Fr Bartolomeu in person or via the Parish Office.

PADRE PIO: 23rd September at 2pm, St Augustines will host an afternoon dedicated to this Saint. All are welcome. We will watch a film of his life; have a short talk/discussion and also spiritual imput from Fr Barto, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits. karinseeman2@gmail.com

KNIGHTS OF ST. COLUMBA: 7 October at 20.00, Chelmsford Knights of St. Columba Annual Lecture “Why Youth Ministry”. Claire Bailey Director of Brentwood Youth Service will be leading this, St. Augustine’s. We are also organising our annual Walking Quiz on Sunday, 27 September. This year, we will be solving clues on Ingatestone High Street, meeting at the Community Centre Car Park at 15.00. It will be about 2 hours, No charge, suitable for children.
