COACH FOR THE DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM: on Saturday the 24th May 2025. Join Frs Martin and Damien, and Bishop Alan and other parishes around the Diocese of Brentwood in Walsingham to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope. The cost for a place on the coach is £20 leaving from Our Lady Immaculate Church at 7am, and St Augustine Church, which has parking available at 7:20am. MASS FOR MIGRANTS
: The Dioceses and Ethnic Chaplaincies of Brentwood, Southwark and Westminster invite you to a celebration of the annual Mass for Migrants on Monday, 5th May 2025, 2pm at Westminster Cathedral. The Mass will celebrate the contributions made to the faith, life and work in the UK by all those from other countries who make a home here. THANK YOU FROM CARYS AND CONNIE (HCPT):
Both would like to pass on their gratitude to parishioners for supporting their cake sale after the 9 a.m and 12Noon masses on Palm Sunday. They raised £503 to help fund visits to Lourdes. Carys has just returned with HCPT after going for Easter week, and Connie will be attending as a leader when she goes with the diocese in July. Thank you so much for your support and generosity.

ST AUGUSTINE V.E. DAY:
This Thursday 8th May after the Mass there will be coffee and tea and plentiful cakes available for the V.E. celebrations. All are welcome.

SR TERESA LENAHAN RIP:
As many of you may have heard Sister Teresa Lenahan, a Canoness of the Holy Sepulchre, died on 26th April. Her funeral, including burial, will take place at New Hall on Friday 23rd May beginning at 11am. It will be followed by refreshments.
Anyone is warmly welcome to attend but we would be grateful to know if you are intending to come for catering purposes. Please e-mail moiraosullivan1@gmail.com or phone 07443 643254.

V.E. DAY 80TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS:
Taking place in the Blessed Sacrament Hall on Saturday 17th May starting at 7.30pm. If you like big band music from the 40s, playing silly games and singing then come along to a nostalgic evening of family fun and surprises. Bring your own drinks, glasses and nibbles.
Tickets cost £5 per adult, children are free, and are available from the Welcomers desk after all weekend Masses or contact Jenny Smith on 07904 903800. All monies raised will go towards the parish finances.

HOLY NAME LADIES GROUP QUIZ NIGHT
: Next Saturday the 10th May 7pm for 7:30pm in the Canon Wilson Hall at Holy Name Church. Tickets £5 per adult and £1 per child under 15.
