SECOND COLLECTION THIS WEEK: This annual appeal supports the Pope Leo's mission around the world—proclaiming the Gospel, promoting peace, and responding to those in need. It also helps fund the Vatican’s charitable outreach to communities affected by war, natural disasters, and poverty. Your contribution is a sign of unity with the Holy Father and a gesture of practical love for the most vulnerable.

Parish Office Update: The parish office has now relocated to the Presbytery at St Augustine. The Parish Office is open between 9am-1pm every weekday. Please note the office will be shut on Tuesday 1st July.

JULY YOUTH MASS WITH BCYS:
On Thursday 3rd July, Youth Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Alan at Brentwood Cathedral. There will be pizza in the parish hall from 6pm, followed by Youth Mass in the Cathedral from 7:30pm where Bishop Alan will bless all those travelling on our youth pilgrimage to Lourdes this Summer. All young people around the Diocese are very welcome to join – there is no need to book! Get in touch at info@bcys.net for more information.

SUMMER FESTIVAL:
Our Lady Immaculate primary school Saturday 5th July, 3-6pm on the school field, entrance via New Writtle street.Everyone is welcome to join us for and afternoon of fun and games. There will be a DJ, inflatables, games, raffles, grand draw, refreshments and a BBQ. Entrance fee is £1 per adult and 50p per child and a wristband for unlimited inflatable use is £5. We hope to see you there and thank you for your support.

OUR LADY OF FATIMA Statue Visitation Programme:
Bring Her Into Your Home. Host the Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima in your home for a week of prayer and family devotion. Choose your visitation period: Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. Parish Administrator Vacancy at Our Lady of Good Counsel- Wickford
: A vacancy has arisen for a Parish Administrator, to provide administrative support services to the Parish Office by implementing and maintaining office systems, processes and procedures and delivering a welcoming, appropriate service to those attending the parish office.The post will be part-time working 12 hours per week – (4 Days per week, 3 hours per day). The salary is £12.60 per hour.

The Divine mercy apostolate
- Celebration of St Faustina Birthday at Aylesford Priory, Aylesford, Kent on Bank Holiday Monday 25 August 2025 from 10:30 am to 4pm. The reflection day will include teachings on the Message of Divine Mercy, Holy Mass, Hour of Mercy with Stations of the Cross, Adoration and Benediction and Veneration of the Image of Merciful Jesus.
