SVP FUNDRAISING EVENT COLOURWORX COLOUR AND STYLE DEMO: Fantastic opportunity to get the inside deal on what colours really flatter your skin tone and make the most of your personal style. Sandra, a Colour and Style Coach will give you the tools and the confidence to look and feel amazing. The 45-minute practical demo will help you understand which colours work best for you so you’ll need to buy less clothes and make more of what you’ve got already in your wardrobe! The live talk is in OLI Church Hall on Saturday May 11th at 11.15am followed by tea, coffee, cake and a chance to browse and buy accessories. Tickets £8 in advance, £10 on the door. ASSISTED SUICIDE PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE: On April 29th following an online petition the Government to allocate Parliamentary time for assisted dying to be fully debated in the House of Commons and to give MPs a vote on the issue. LEGION OF MARY HOUSE ROSARY: Two members of the Legion of Mary will be happy to visit your home to say a rosary with your family during May. If you would like a visit there are sign up sheets at the back of churches or contact the Legion of Mary via the Parish Office

ST PATRICK'S WAY PILGRIMAGE 2025: The Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre are organising a pilgrimage on 22-27 April 2025. We will be journeying along the newly-established St Patrick's Way in the North of Ireland. The pilgrimage is open to all faiths and none and is aimed at being accessible to everyone - walkers and non-walkers. FIRST FRIDAY PRAYER: Devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be held every First Friday at 6:30pm at Our Lady Immaculate church starting on Friday 3rd May 2024. This will be followed by the mass at 7:30pm for all the Holy Souls.

YOUTH MASS IN BRENTWOOD CATHEDRAL: Thursday 2nd May. Celebrating the Month of Mary by praying the Rosary. All meet in the Parish Hall from 6pm for pizza and refreshments, before a youth led session where we will help you understand the importance of praying the Rosary, and asking for Our Lady’s intercession as we pray together. At 7:30pm, we will celebrate Youth Mass in the Cathedral. All very welcome to come.

OUR LADY OF FATIMA VISITATION IN OUR LADY IMMACULATE CHURCH: Over the weekend of the 4th and 5th of May there will be a visitation of the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of our Lady of Fatima and the Relics of Saints Jacinta & Francisco. Various events are planned over the two days, all very welcome. There will be opportunities to take part in prayers, litanies and devotions, and an opportunity to learn more about the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima from the World Apostolate of Fatima of England and Wales. Additionally there will be an extra Mass on Sunday as part of the celebrations.

2:15pm 15 Minutes meditation on a mystery of the Rosary

PENTECOST PRAYER NOVENA:
There will be 24/7 prayer running from 2pm on Sunday 12th May to 10pm on Saturday 18th May at the Sion Community Chapel. You are welcome to join us any time from 6am to 12 midnight. HOW BEAUTY DRAWS US CLOSER TO GOD LECTURE: With Fr Patrick van der Vorst at 7 PM, Friday, 17th May 2024 St Patrick's Church, Soho Square, London. Fr. Patrick van der Vorst is a priest of the Archdiocese of Westminster, and the founder of the evangelistic initiative www.Christian.Art. Fr. Patrick will explore how beauty elevates us to encounter the Divine, how the Church has historically sought to create art that facilitates this meeting, and how this can happen in our visually overstimulated world. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A and then refreshments will be available.
