FR MARTIN'S 30th ANNIVERSARY OF HIS ORDINATION MASS AT NEW HALL SCHOOL: All from the Chelmsford Linked Parishes are invited to attend Mass at New Hall School at 4:30pm next Sunday on the 30th June. Light refreshments will be available after the Mass. Envelopes are available at the back of church to donate to Fr Martin's continued ministry.

FUNDRAISING TOMBOLA: after Masses at Holy Name this weekend. Phil Perrier will be running a tombola for the Denis Hurley Centre in Durban South Africa. Tickets £1 each – each ticket wins a prize. Thank you for your generous support.

Walsingham House Anniversary Mass:
On the 31st August at Walsingham House at Abbotswick. Celebrate forty years of team at Walsingham House with us, beginning with Mass celebrated by Bishop Alan at 12pm followed by celebrations at our beautiful retreat house just outside Brentwood. All very welcome.

BCYS Summer Lourdes Pilgrimage: 20th–27th July 2024: There are a handful of last minute places available if anyone in school year 10+ still wishes to join this pilgrimage with the BCYS. Full details on the pilgrimage and applications at www.bcys.net/events/sl24 or email gabriellaskinner@brcdt.org

CHARITY EVENING WITH 3 COURSE INDIAN MEAL: All are invited on Saturday 13th July 2024 from 6pm for a fundraising event at St Augustine Church in aid of Familia orphanage in Kolkatta, India. The evening will include a three course Indian meal and plenty of entertainment, including a quiz and raffle - with lots of prizes to be won! Tickets are priced at £20 per person and all proceeds will go towards Familia. We hope to see as many of you there as possible for what is sure to be a fun filled evening in aid of a truly worthy cause. Tickets are available in St Augustine before and after the Mass on Sunday in the Entrance Porch. Please speak to Cily or contact the Parish Office for further information.

NEW PROCESSIONAL CROSS AT OLI: Thank you to the anonymous donor who has donated the new processional cross in thanksgiving. Two matching processional candles with flame protectors are arriving. If you would like to donate to these in memory or thanksgiving, please contact the Office.

CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE: The next meeting of the Catholic Women's League scheduled for the 24th June in OLI Hall is cancelled. Do contact the office for further information about their work and how to get involved.
Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima Home Visitation: The Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima is now available for home visitation. Families or individuals are encouraged to host the Pilgrim Virgin Statue of our Lady of Fatima in their homes for a week, beginning and ending on a Saturday. Sign up sheets are available in the back of the Church, please speak to a member of the team before or after the 10:30 Mass in OLI Church on Saturdays for more details.

ST JOHN PAYNE FOUNDATION GOVERNOR VACANCY: St John Payne secondary school currently has a vacancy for a voluntary Foundation Governor to join the school’s local governing body. Foundation governors must be practicing Catholics. In addition to working as part of the governing body team to promote high standards & opportunities for every child, they are appointed to ensure that the religious character of the school is preserved. If you are interested in this role contact the Parish Office for more information about how to apply.

CAN YOU HELP THE KNIGHTS OF ST. COLUMBA? The Knights of St Columba are looking to help refugees in local temporary accommodation. There is a requirement for clothing, mainly men’s trousers and shorts (jeans, joggers or chinos) and, A4 notebooks, pens and pencils. Please leave your donations in the labelled box at the back of the all Churches. Your donations will be collected by the Knights after the Sunday Masses of 29th/30th June. The Knights thank you for your support.

OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP DEVOTIONS: will be held immediately following the 10:30 am Mass on Saturday, 22nd June at Our Lady Immaculate Church. All very welcome.

AN EVENING WITH JESUS AND MARY: Wednesday the 26th June in St Augustine Church led by Fr Paschal. Come and Pray the Rosary and spend time in adoration, prayer and praise.

HEADTEACHER - Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Primary School: Required for January 2025. Applications encouraged before the 12th July. Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Head Teacher who is a committed, practising Catholic. Someone who shares our vision and passion and has the leadership and ambition to build on the successes of our school. Our new Head Teacher will work with governors to shape the strategic direction of the school and will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of Our Lady Immaculate School. RADIO MARIA ENGLAND: Invites all to the 200 stars of Radio Maria Mass and reception, Monday 24th of June at 6pm with refreshments following the Mass at the Rosary Shrine, St Dominic's Priory, Southampton Road, London, NW5 4LB.

HOSPITAL AND SICK VISITS:
If you or a member of your family go into hospital, or are sick and housebound, please inform the Parish Office so a priest or the Legion of Mary can visit you.
