Coach for the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Walsingham on saturday the 24th May 2025. Join Frs Martin and Damien, and Bishop Alan and other parishes around the Diocese of Brentwood in Walsingham to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope. The cost for a place on the coach is £20 leaving from Our Lady Immaculate Church at 7am, and St Augustine Church, which has parking available at 7:20am. DEANERY PILGRIMAGE TO ROME:

HCPT FUNDRAISING AFTER MASS:
This Sunday on the 18th May there will be cakes available after the Sunday Mass in St Augustine to support one of our young People on her trip to Lourdes this summer. Donations of cake would be greatly appreciated and your generosity in supporting her much appreciated.

SR TERESA LENAHAN RIP:
As many of you may have heard Sister Teresa Lenahan, a Canoness of the Holy Sepulchre, died on 26th April. Her funeral, including burial, will take place at New Hall on Friday 23rd May beginning at 11am. It will be followed by refreshments. Anyone is welcome to attend but we would be grateful to know if you are intending to come for catering purposes. Please e-mail or phone 07443 643254.

ST AUGUSTINE CHURCH CAKES TO SUPPORT THE SVP CHILDREN'S CAMP:
help to give a child a special summer break. Calling all parishioners and their children! Please bake your favourite cake(s) during half-term and bring them to St Augustine’s before Mass on Sunday 1st June. We will offer your cakes for sale after Mass in the small hall so remember to bring some change!
Please note if you kindly bake a cake as a donation to provide a list of ingredients with your contribution.

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS:
Take place in Holy Name Parish Church after the 7:30pm Mass on Monday 19th May. All are very welcome.

HOLY NAME LADIES' GROUP:
Thank everyone who made their recent quiz night such a success. A total amount of £873 has been raised - this is a combination of our Easter Raffle and monies raised through the quiz. Again, many thanks for your generosity.

SVP CHELMSFORD:
We will be serving coffee, tea and soft drinks, as well as delicious home- baked cakes and sausage rolls after 9.00am and 12.00Noon Masses in Our Lady Immaculate Church today. Thank you for your continued support; your donations are greatly appreciated.

Caprice Wind Orchestra Concert 7 June - in aid of SVP Furniture Bank Project
: Please come and enjoy the Caprice Wind Orchestra (including Cook and Padbury family members) 7:30 on Sat. 7 June at St Andrew's Church, Chignal Road, CM1 2JB. The orchestra are kindly supporting our SVP Furniture Bank project. Tickets £15 (primary aged children free). Tickets available after Mass or from Margaret Cook or one of the SVP team.

Headteacher for St Peter’s Catholic Primary School Romford:
Our wonderful Headteacher is retiring after 20 years, and we are looking for a new Headteacher to start in January 2026 (or sooner, if possible).
