OUR LADY IMMACULATE CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL TOURS SEPTEMBER 2026 INTAKE: Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Primary School are holding their school tours for prospective parents on Monday, 20th October at 1.45pm, Thursday, 6th November at 10am and Tuesday, 18th November at 1.45pm. ST JOHN PAYNE SCHOOL OPEN EVENING INVITATION: Thursday 25th September 5:30pm to 8pm. There will be opportunities to hear from the Headteacher, students keen to accompany visitors on tour, and time to meet the fantastic staff. PARISH LIBRARY OLI UPDATE: Many thanks to all those who have donated books to the parish library recently. We have reached capacity for storage space so unfortunately we cannot accept any more donations for the time being. In the meantime, please continue to enjoy the library.

KNIGHTS OF ST COLUMBA WALKING QUIZ: KSC will be holding their annual Walking Quiz on Sunday, 28th September. It will be round Coggeshall and is about observing the interesting features of a route through the village. Come alone or with a small team, but let us know at thompsoncjt01@blueyonder.co.uk so that we can have enough sets of questions for everyone. We meet at the Stoneham Street car park at 13.45 to start at 14.00. Entry free and there will be small prize.
KNIGHTS OF ST COLUMBA ANNUAL LECTURE: Every Easter since he was in sixth form, Ben Hitchen has been joining the Hosanna House and Children’s Pilgrimage Trust (HCPT) for their Easter Pilgrimage. He will be talking about this work in the KSC Annual Lecture at St Augustine's on Wednesday, 1st October, at 8pm. Ben will talk about how he got involved with HCPT, how it differs from other pilgrimages to Lourdes and what keeps him going back year after year. He’ll also speak about the activities of the week and the impact that HCPT has on both children with disabilities and their families. Everyone welcome, bring friends and family. CELEBRATING VATICAN II: Fr Adrian Graffy will lead a study day entitled ‘Vatican II and its Popes’. The event will take place at the Catholic parish of Christ the Eternal High Priest in Gidea Park (RM2 6DH) on Saturday 20th September from 10.30.
