HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION: Next week is a Holy Day of obligation on Friday for the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

YOUTH GATHER WITH BRENTWOOD CATHOLIC YOUTH SERVICE:
25th – 26th October. Youth Gather is a weekend of faith, fun and friendship – with speakers, workshops, prayer and outdoor activities, meeting friends old and new, and all while sharing in and celebrating our Catholic faith. There will be coaches offering transport from around the Diocese included in the cost, as well as all meals, cabin accommodation and activities. This event is for year 9 and above. KEEP THE DATE:
Fr Damien will celebrate his final Mass in the parish at 7pm on Sunday 31st August. All are warmly invited to come along afterwards to the Parish Hall at Our Lady Immaculate for a farewell gathering to thank him for his ministry and wish him well in his new Parish.
Envelopes for his leaving collection are available in the back of the churches.

Ingatestone Hall Tea & Tour:
Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society invites you to a special day at the historic Ingatestone Hall on Thursday 11th September. Guests will enjoy a rare guided tour of this beautiful 16th-century manor, led by Lord Petre or his son, followed by tea and cake served in the parlour.There are two tour times available: 10.30am and 12.30pm.

DEACON IN TRAINING FOR OUR CHELMSFORD PARISHES:
My name is Regan Schreiber. Originally from South Africa, our family moved to the UK in 2006. My wife, Gail, and I have been married for 25 years and are proud parents to Josh (20), Caleb (18), and Lily (15). We both work in education—I am currently Head of Chaplaincy and Gail is Head of Junior Girls’ Boarding, both at New Hall School. I am in my second year of a four-year formation programme at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, to become a permanent Deacon. I feel truly blessed to be part of this Parish community and I am looking forward to becoming more actively involved in parish life and ministry.
